Leah & Scott’s Glamorous Wedding at The Annie Café
Leah and Scott’s wedding was the kind you feel before you even walk in the door.
After a ceremony at St. Anne’s, guests made their way to The Annie Café, where the entrance staircase was absolutely crawling with florals—an intentionally wild, romantic welcome moment that set the tone for what was to come. Inside, the restaurant had been transformed: chandeliers dripping with flowers hung over a black and white checkered dance floor, hunter green draping concealed the murals, and traditional dining tables were swapped for lounge seating that hugged the edges of the room.
The vibe was modern ballroom meets moody supper club.
The centerpiece? The dance floor—and these two owned it.

Leah wanted soft, delicate florals—wispy whites that felt airy and intentional. We created a long, lush floral meadow to run the length of the head table and floral installations for all six chandeliers above the dance floor. The whole space felt elevated, but never stuffy—much like Leah and Scott themselves.

They also nailed the personal touches:
– Signature coasters that read “Don’t take my drink, I’m dancing” (iconic)
– A sparkly outfit change for Leah, complete with a statement bow
– A sword—yes, a family heirloom sword—for cutting the cake
– A second line-style transition into the after party, led by the trumpeter from their New Orleans band

And that after party? It took place at Emilia’s, the Cuban-inspired speakeasy tucked inside The Annie. Think: rum, rhythm, and a live Cuban band to close out the night.
From the timeless ceremony to the nightclub finale, Leah and Scott’s wedding was high style, full throttle fun, and deeply personal from start to finish. We loved designing a floral plan that could hold its own in a night this unforgettable.
